Hundreds accept Christ during Carnival in Brazil

Christian youths in Brazil have brought more than a thousand people to Christ in the northeastern city of Salvador during Carnival, the largest annual festival the country.

Carnival from 4 to 8 March, attracts millions of people to see colorful and extravagant parades conducted by the schools of samba. In the midst of high rates of alcohol consumption and sexual promiscuity that members of Youth With A Mission JOCUM out to evangelize in the city of Salvador in Bahia state.

Salvador has one of the biggest festivals of carnival in Brazil. Some 500,000 tourists join the million residents of El Salvador to celebrate Carnival.

During this time, JOCUM missionaries came to the people on the street and invited them to the cabin of the ministry where they talked about issues like family , drugs, among other issues that could lead to a conversation profound about Jesus.
